should this bug report maybe be merged with #412889, where tokkee kindly
provided a patch? It's not actually the same thing being reported, but I don't
see anything that could be done here, other what is proposed for #412889.

different bitrates as substreams. The mms software is supposed to
select an appropriate substream when it begins to download the stream.
