Hi,
apt-mirror(1) partially reads:

apt-mirror uses /etc/apt/mirror.list as a configuration
file. By default it is tuned to official Debian or Ubuntu
mirrors. Change it for your needs.
I don't really see how that solves my problem. I am using the regular
squeeze kernel, and both options are set there. Still I don't have a
working display.
I will follow Cesare Leonardis suggestion in the 600802 thread and
try the kernel and x driver from experimental.

Dear maintainer,
As per Jari's intent to NMU posted to the BTS and his communication with

I have updated my laptop (a Dell X200 with i830 graphic card)
today with the latest squeeze. So 2.9.1-4 has
been replaced by 2:2.12.0+shadow-2, which needs KMS to work.
But when inserting i915 module with modeset=1,

Hey Paul,
I can confirm my home desktop is finally working the way I want it to.
I had to shuffle a lot of configs around because this box is older and
probably had a lot more legacy configs. Couldn't figure out what to
change, so ended up copying them over from my laptop. Anyway, I've
