Ok, I have found the reason why the game doesn't start anymore.
The config file of pink-pony in ~/.config was not upadated with the
latest release. That means it contains outdated information about the
location of the game data files.

What happened was that I defined (and manually called) a few __destruct
methods on instances that shouldn't be destructed yet. I think this caused
some kind of invalid pointers.
