I can't reproduce this bug, neither with slapd 2.4.31 from wheezy nor
with 2.4.39 from sid. I was careful to include the logold line that
you said caused your crash.

It seems that the gitweb package is missing the CSS stylesheet and other
files from the gitweb/static directory. Please make sure to include these
in the package as the display is rather unpleasant without them.

It seems like the upload progress tracking is broken in nb_NO.UTF-8 at
least. It keeps at 0% while the log file says:
112,197,632 88% 124.39kB/s0:01:53
and so on.
I suspect it needs adjustment for the «,» in the output.
