Another situation where it would be useful is for filtered lists of
versions, like in the Depends field, for example:
i A --\ libgcc1
Package: aptitude
Severity: wishlist
It would be nice to have a way to go from one version of a binary
package to the corresponding source package version and from there to
the list of binary packages from that source package version. Example:
i A --\ libc6 2.21-9 2.21-9
...
Package: aptitude
Severity: wishlist
On any list of versions it would be nice if we could have the origin
listed too when it is different between versions. Some folks might want
it always listed, but I think that would just be clutter. Examples:
--\ Versions of task-english (1)
i3.34
Package: debdelta
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-CC: Neils Thykier
It would be great if debdelta could support the new debian-debug
archive, since debug symbols are often huge and debdelta can help
reduce the downloads needed to update them.

I found the culprit: It's the Debian deprecated.patch, which I
attach below, in case you are interested.
This means it's a Debian packaging bug. Debian applies this
deprecated.patch during build, thereby apparently making fvwm
incompatible with the X xerver running inside vnc.
