Hi,
Thanks for the report. It is not that clear from the log, but the build
failure is caused by an error of msgfmt, which comes from the
libunistring lack of transition (#825471 and friends).
This should be fixed in a few hours when libunistring is reverted to 0.9.3.

Hi,
could you also test if it fails on your system if you update to 5.0.8
instead of 5.0.10?
I already reported this to upstream:

Description : pytest
Package: virtualbox

Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
virtualbox 5.0.18 installed on Jessie with 4.5.0-0 kernel form backports, MATE
desktop 1.8.1
Suspending (to RAM) from MATE desktop using the lid switch of a laptop results
in a locked screen and a password prompt
I wanted to do this in the NMU I'm preparing (with the diff I attached)
but the build hangs here:
make tests/alloc_port tests/wait_for_slapd_exit tests/wait_for_slapd_start
make[3]: Entering directory '/build/libuser-0.62~dfsg'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
-I/usr/lib/x86_64-l
This is resolved.
Turns out the problem was related to my iceweasel apparmor profile,
which was preventing access to .config/freshwrapper-data.
Now works. Thanks for your effort.

Hi,
upstream looked into it and couldn't find anything obviously wrong.
On my hurd vm, the eunit tests succeed in 1 out of 5 attempts or so.
In the meantime I've had the outdated binary packages removed from the
archive.
