Below you can read about a suggested solution.
Kind regards

According to the manpage of fseek(), which is identical to fseeko()
apart from the offset data type:

Thank you - looks like it's working.

I'd do it in the next days, but if you have spare time: go ahead :-)

Hi,
just a short update:
with 4.9.0 from Stretch I hit this issue within a week and had to reboot the
system. With 4.12.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 I run now for almost three weeks and the
issue did not pop up.
Either it is fixed or it seems to be at least triggered less frequently.

Yes, this needs to be changed to the new, versionless package names
like plplot-driver-xwin.

Hi,
Right click menu's "Show Menubar" by design only influences the
current window (similarly to some other options there, such as
selecting a Profile or toggling Read-Only).
What you're looking for is the global menu's Edit -> Preferences ->
"Show menubar by default in new terminals".

Hi,
I need to admit I have no idea why
fseeko() on reference file: Invalid argument
is happening on some architectures.
Any help is welcome
Andreas.

Hi,
it seems this problem happens in bgzip interface. Is there any known
change to the compression library that is incompatible since
staden-iu-lib was successfully uploaded and built (at least on several
architectures) yesterday.
Any help is welcome
Andreas.

Currently, Java extension files (parser.jar and generator.jar) are
being built in every release architecture.
A new package libruby-json-java should be introduced to built those
files only once in that package.

As far as I can see:
1. blcr is dead upstream since 2013.
2. blcr requires both userspace and kernel parts.
3. The -dkms package is removed in unstable.
4. The beta version in experimental has an RC bug against
the -dkms package
