Dear Maintainer,
The layout of debian policy has changed. This broke links of the
embedded doc of dpkg model. All 24 links must be checked.
All the links can be found with:
$ ack debian-policy lib/Config/Model/models/ --type=perl
Please can you also update the package version to 1:2.17.0-2? Thanks.

I'd certainly be happy to sponsor an upload, but I am not going to
package it on my own.

Hello,
seeing the AppArmor denials would be helpful to get this fixed ;-)
Please either
grep -i apparmor /var/log/syslog
or, if you have auditd installed, check
/var/log/audit/audit.log
For more details, see https://wiki.debian.org/AppArmor/Debug

Hi Richard,
thanks for the detailed update. The problem was a bug in needrestart
due to the inspection of a non-existing mapping in /tmp (so you also got
that many "Use of uninitialized value" warnings).

The man page for gdm3 states that it will create an XAUTHORITY file in
/var/run/gdm3 and set the environment variable to point to it. It does
not do this when running wayland. Instead it leaves Xwayland configured
to allow connections only from local processes run
