Would it be possible to compile GPicView with GTK3 instead of (or in
addition to) GTK2? This would bring HiDPI support. With GTK2, the icons
are tiny.

The setup via /etc/default/* is part of the old SysV init scripts.
With systemd you can use "systemctl edit openvpn" with the same
behavior.

Hey!
GTK3 support in Geeqie package is disabled because of #762718. However,
we are almost 4 years later. It's likely the situation has been improved
and Geeqie should be able to be compiled with GTK3.
