I don't see how dropping the dependency would be a good idea but of
course we can add alternative dependencies on compatible icon themes,
i.e. mate-icon-theme and yes, elementary-xfce-icon-theme seems to be a

Apparently, I haven't tried to print since upgrading gourmet, but I see in the
changelog
that printing was removed (and I saw the post on ubuntu that said it'd be
better to
have a working package than to depend on an obsolete pack
Worth to mention: I'm not attaching the debdiff because it's huge, as the
source seems to have lot of noisy changes (formatting).
