Just hit this issue after upgrading my Debian sid systems.
I can reproduce as follows:
- log in at the console (with bash as the login shell)
- set +m
- exec /bin/sh -c 'read x; echo $x'
For whatever reason I only hit the issue with the shells spawned
directly by 'login', I cannot reproduc
Unfortunately it's hard to determine programmatically if it's cruft or not.
You might mark this bug as being blocked by the bugs for the other packages.
Also, getting them cleaned up may help with getting Django updates to migrate
to Testing (not sure).

The 'gimp-python' binary package has no reverse dependencies (only gimp

The package is not completely dead upstream but it seems that Python3 is not
supported. Source code has been moved to Bitbucket, with latest changes
committed in 2016.
