'diagnostics' now builds fine with new binutils/2.35-1 and the RC bug
has been closed. I have also tested it with ace 6.5.10+dfsg-1 version

FWIW, I'm attaching the tail end of an strace log, and a (long) list of the
shared libraries used, per ldd. I note that in the latter list, there are
no nvidia libraries - but the strace log shows it was looking for (and
apparently not finding) libGLX_nvidia.so.0. apt-fi

I was reading the Debian Reference shortly after a clean install of
bullseye. (It's a very useful document, BTW, thanks for doing it.)
However I have been running Debian for years and migrated some config
files over from a previous installation
I’ve just reuploaded Abseil with an shlibs file instead of a symbols
file. The symbols file doesn’t buy us a whole lot anyway, since Abseil
is going to break ABI with every release.
