Hi John,
you use kipi-plugins 0.1 rc1. There, the timestamp of an
image is not changed anymore when an image is rotated and therefore
digikams thumbnail code miss that the thumbnails needs to be updated.
I'll upload a fix for digikam soon.

Hi Laurent,
http://packages.debian.org/digikam lists no amd64 pkg in
experimental. Where did you get the amd64 deb from?
A user wrote me that 0.8 beta2 (as now in debian experimental)

Hi Arthur,
I still beleave that your bug is not digikams fault.
I assume your installation is/was messed up.
Your using unstable so I assume did lots of updates
and reboots in the meantime. Do you still run into
this problem?

Hi Markus,
I have not seen a similar complain on the digikam
mailing lists or in digikam BTS. Unstable has now 0.7.4
(and experimental 0.8 beta2). Do you run into see the problem?

Hi Kurt,
because libdigikam is only shared between

Hi Wolfram,
several of the digikamimageplugins 0.7* plugins have big endian

Hi Yojik,
Just to verify: If there are only movies digikam previews do work for
you?
It's a well known problem: in recent releases, k3b detaches itself
into the background. k3b has to be use with the option --nofork.
The next rc1 release of kipi-plugins will set the 'Applications parameter'
to --nofork by default (in 'Media Burning' of the 'create cd/dvd archive'
dialog.

Short story for unstable users: unstable is currently borked due
to the C++ transition. Wait until kde 3.4.? enters sid and the
error will go way.

Hi,
update: C++ transistion will introduce KDE 3.4 into sid (currently
in experimental) and the following upload of digikam will have no
runtime dependency on libimlib2-dev anymore.

Hi,
after discussion on upstream lists, the plans to create a seperate
-doc tarball for the next release (0.7.5 or 0.8). Therefore,
despite 0.7.4 has much more docs included I will postpone the digikam
digikam-doc split until it's is done upstream.
Hope that's not too much trouble for digikam us
