Below is what I get when I try to install sphinx when both pythons 2.5
and 2.3 are present in the system. Removing package python2.3
fixed the problem -- luckily this was possible, no dependencies,
can't remember why I had it installed...
cal
n sending it signal using:
$ kill -SIGKILL mplayer's_pid
mplayer dies stating 'Killed' and terminal stays alive as it should.

i did so just now and have some good news - troubles are gone! python+mysql
works while php module is enabled and working in apache.
