I *think* that docker not working in common circumstances (Kernel 4.8 and
onwards, I understand that this will become the norm at some point) with
many popular images is a bug; perhaps this should be raised either to the
Debian kernel maintainers or Docker upstream?

Dear Maintainer,
I upgraded my kernel to the one from jessie-backports to fix some hardware

not fully comprehend that bug's resolution.

@Alex: do you think you could build mate-terminal from source with the

I tried, but I believe the necessary -dev packages are not yet in Debian:

More or less, doing some trial and error I discovered that using

Hi,
After my latest apt-get upgrade, mate-terminal segfaults on start.
$ gdb mate-terminal
GNU gdb (Debian 7.7.1+dfsg-5) 7.7.1
(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/mate-terminal [Thread debugging using

Hi,
After setting up libvirt, my dnsmasq occasionally stops resolving cnames
specified in its configuration file. My dnsmasq is configured with:
interface=br0 # for kvm
bind-interfaces # for kvm

Yup, I think so. I'm using dnsmasq as DNS/DHCP for my lan; my main box
uses send host-name and after getting an IP from dnsmasq, dnsmasq's DNS

I'm trying now smbnetfs, which doesn't seem (so far) to have this issue,
which might be an alternative for people experiencing this bug.
