I uploaded the NMU as the fix deserves to get into the wheezy release.
I double checked that the NMU is non-intrusive and am satisfied with it.

Well, with both 2.6.26-x and 2.6.28 I am unable to boot my amd64
anymore. First my network card stopped working (e100), so I plugged in
a rt8139too and now the e100 works but I get random kernel oops at boot

which belongs to tha package gonem-panel, so I am reassigning this bug

Since we can't fix python-kde3, I'm in favor of removing gdebi-kde.
Version in Etch doesn't have gdebi-kde, so we aren't abandoning
anybody.
