this issue seems to be a little more subtle.
The root cause seems to be that the thread, where the subversion
command is running, tries to send the result to the log graph window
after it has already been closed by the user. The behaviour

I just tried to verify this issue, by simply uninstalling libcupsys2-dev,
but qcad can still print. Did you install cups at all before?
I suspect that installation of libcupsys2-dev has pulled in some other
dependencies, especially cupsys-cl
