Yes, except the "for no apparent reason" part.
The introduction of NetBSD support caused an ABI breakage, this simply
reverts to the old ABI. This likely does not affect us at all though

Hello again!
Heavily filtered debdiff included
debdiff *.dsc | filterdiff -x '*/build/win32/*' -x '*/*/*.po' -x
'*/gdk/quartz/*' -x '*/docs/*' -x '*/INSTALL' -x '*/README' -x '*/build/*msvc*'
-x '*/*win32' -x '*/gdk/win32/rc/gdk.rc' -x '*/configure' -x '*/*/*.pot' -x
'*/gdk/broadway/*.h'
are multiple ways to handle it. One way would be to go
via testing-proposed-updates, but I think fixes for severity important
bugs does not qualify for going in that way anyhow so, not sure...
I'll look at it a bit closer later.

Hello!
The requested feature should now be implemented in upstream git master
of util-linux, where sfdisk has been completely rewritten on top
of the shared libfdisk codebase. This should be available in the
future v2.26 release.
