Hello again, 1. manual umount works properly, 2. activated with ntfs-config write-function for external devices, 3. situation remains as described: after few seconds system is freezing totally. 4. Under Debian Lenny all was fine (?), 5. Hard disk seems ok, reformatted twice under Windows 7 with no problems.
