It should be stated more clearly that upgrading from 9.3 to 9.4 you now have to
specify allow-recursion in named.conf.options to re-enably recursive lookups

I can confirm that problem. All queries to non local zones are being denied in
bind since last update.
Couldn't find out where to toggle this behaviour in any config file.

Grmbl, I think you can close that bug
purged and reinstalled cups. Must have been a problem in the config file.
cupsd doesn't segfault anymore.
