Using the xemacs21 package in unstable:
ii xemacs21 21.4.20-2 highly customizable text editor
Tramp fails to open a remote file via scp erroring out with:
"Symbol's function definition is void:

Severity: important
as of 1.12.13-9, cvs no longer works over nfs mounted cvs controlled
directories.
Any cvs command in on these NFS mounts gives me: ' cannot get working
directory: No such file or directory'.

I've got the same issue on a machine authenticated via an LDAP server.
Account in the sudoers file comes from LDAP, my /etc/pam.d/sudo is:
auth required pam_ldap.so
