Hi, after the upgrade, there was no modline flooding anymore, but still the system became sluggish after some time. It seems that the problem was caused by the polling for VGA devices. After disabling polling (setting /sys/module/drm_kms_helper/parameters/poll to N) I had no problems anymore.
