FYI, I can not update Thunderbird ATM, but by July 2010, TB 3.1, the bug
was not fixed.
And personally, I would be surprised if they *really* fixed it; I feel
quiet confident I could find a repro case.
I won't re-open this bug, but I don't consider it as fixed.
