Using Debian's cryptsetup binary works just fine in my initramfs during
boot. However, it doesn't work well during shutdown, when systemd hands over
to the initramfs again[*], and udev is no longer running:
$ cryptsetup luksClose VOLUME
...

When I add hyphenation hints (hy\-phe\-na\-tion) to bibliography entries,
running biber and then latex again causes the following error:

In my custom initramfs, the device nodes for /dev/vg0/home and /dev/vg0/swap
are created. After the boot process is handed over to systemd, it enters an
emergency shell: The (autogenerated) systemd-cryptsetup@home.service and
systemd-cryptsetup@swap.service want dev
Applied a similar, but slightly different patch to upstream. Thanks for

Bug is fixed in the cpufrequtils git tree, which will be released as

Seems to be the IRQ storm issue again... Daniel, IIRC you worked on that
issue before: do you have an idea on how to write a proper patch for this
issue?
