This bug is nine years old, but still valid in Debian Buster.
So from what I understand by reading this bugreport is that there is a
workaround by removing the memory rule in
/etc/ImageMagick-6/policy.xml - but this file might be overwritten by
an security upgrade, right?

I just want to report that this bug still appears valid in 4.12.1 as
found in stretch.
My impression is that only shortcuts involving the key are affected.
In particular I have set Ctrl+Super+Up/Down/Left/Right as Shortcut for
Upper/Bottom/Left/Right Workspace .
