is the boot loader is easy to do and
should be done before this unnecessairy information screen is
displayed.
Further more the installer could check by itself if the
needed changes is already included in the configuration file
instead of requiring a user to do so.

with hal running:
Insert a dvd, it will spin up and keep on spinning.
Stop hal and after a few moments dvd stops spinning by itself.
