I am aware that Galeon is currently almost unmaintained upstream (how
sad!) and that most of its issues won't be fixed soon, but I think this
bug report should stay open until myportal is resurrected.
Yeah, that seems fair.

Furthermore it doesn't depend on gnome-control-center, it just
recomends it. You can configure apt/aptitude in order to not install
by default recomended packages.

keyboard events. The other tabs are not affected.
Bill, can you still reproduce it 2.0.7-1?

During the timeframe of the recent upgrade from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2, ctrl-g
has stopped doing find next when i'm using type-ahead find. Instead,
it clears the pattern text entry in the find bar.
Works for me with 2.0.7-1. Can we close this bug?

The proper solution is to change the GREVersionRange. See bug #536418

Indeed, the patch below seems to work.
Thanks to both of you.
Fixed in pkg-galeon.

Set network.protocol-handler.warn-external-default to false from

Tricky to debug and such an anticlimactic result, I'm disappointed.

Hi Holger,
this is not a severity=serious as galeon-common is not usually
installed directly,
but as a galeon dependency which provides /usr/bin/galeon.
The fix is in pkg-galeon, and will be in the next upload.
