Hi, perhaps this can help you, I hope. I'm having a similar problem with Epson Perfection 1260/Photo. But the point is that I experienced the same problem some months ago when libsane upgraded. I solved it downgrading libsane from 1.0.14-2 to 1.0.13-3. The situation today is instead:
