I made a mistake in the done-mail, the fix was actually done in version
0.13.2-7 which is available. What can I do to fix this?

Hi, I see this with the latest aptitude (0.6.4-1). The resolving goes on
until segfault (after about 30 mins), probably because it is out of memory.
I have not been able to get rid of the problem by updating or dpkg cleaning.
Normal update/upgrade with apt-get works fine.

Hi I just purged over 2000 old packages, about 600 of them generated the
"missing arch" warning for every dpkg run which was annoying to say the
least.
Obviously it was not an alternative to do the cleaning manually.
I also found 5 packages which were properly installed but also generated
warnings
