Same problem here, on debian Jessie fully upgraded. Sometime it works,
but the most of the time it doesn't.
I've also installed firmware-atheros_0.43_all.deb, but it doesn't solve
the issue.

Each application that use libglib2 crashes (segmentation fault) when opening
files. Tryied with:
- iceweasel
- icedove
- pidgin
- wireshark

I think the problem may be related to libglib2.0-0, I tryed the 2.22.0-1 and
now the
2.22.2-2 version.
Iceweasel crash downloading a file, and also opening a file.
Icedove crashes including an attachment in an email.

Just one more thing: the same problem arise on a testing (squeeze)
box, with tre related iceweasel/icedove version.
