That is because those applets are now capable of using PolicyKit, which
is a much better solution to the problem than gksu. You should run them
as a normal user, from no
(cherrypy3 succeeds it).
The instructions on how this bug has to be reported could use some love,
btw, I am still not sure my subject line is correct (should it really
list the binary package name? what section/priority should it list? the
bad ones, or the good ones?).

We had a refactoring of the image decoders code in webkit recently,
which I think caused this. I have tried it with what we currently have
in the svn repository, and it works, so you'll probably get a fix for
this when 1.1.11 is out.
