Ralink driver causes frequent WiFi reconnects. Sometimes it could just
disconnect and never connect back again, untill laptop is rebooted or hardware

Which Windowmanager are you running? Please do a test: Logoff from
X, switch to a console (i.e. ctrl alt F2) logon as user, set
mixer via `alsamixer` and test sound.

Do you smell something burning or ist it me?

This card is found on HP G62 laptop. If you put headphones jack, you can hear
through them, but not through laptop's speakers. Also microphone also seems not
to be working(tested w/ audacity).

It's even more strange. There are only two controls in alsamixer: Master
and PCM and S/PDIF switch. Neither Master nor PCM is mutable at all.
They just don't have 'mute' switch.

need more information to see if the referenced fix addresses user's
configuration
I've just checked that. Setting xterm.*utf8Title to true solves this
bug, but by default this resource is unset(or set to false) with UTF-8
locale
P.S. i've checked that on debian-sid.
