Hi,
Thanks for your report.
I can reproduce the bug. It should be fixed in the current version 0.9.1b2,
you can download the source code from the mercurial repository:

Yes, the build dep is properly set to libjack-jackd2-dev in the debian
package, but there is a bug in the source code, in the configure.in file
(line 66)
PKG_CHECK_MODULES(JACK, jack = 0.102.0)
Therefore you can download the source and try to compile against libjack-dev
version 1:0.102. The
Hi,
Thanks for your report.
It seems that Lingot 0.9.0 only compiles with libjack version 2, and that
dependency is not tracked in the configure script.
I've fixed it and now Lingot compiles again with libjack version 1 (and 2).
The problem should be fixed in the incoming release 0.9.1.
Cheers,
I've just released a new stable version 0.9.0 that includes the patch.
Niv, go ahead with it

Hi Niv,
Please let me work on it before that, there are some other issues I want to
address.
I'll give you a stable version (soon).
Thank you,
Ibán.
Hi Ruslans,
Wow!, this patch really helps!.
I did the same for the computation thread (lingot-core.c:478), and I've
applied the changes in the new version 0.8.2b5, available in the mercurial
repository: https://savannah.nongnu.org/hg/?group=lingot
Thank you very much.
Ibán.
Hi Paweł,
Sorry, I cannot reproduce the bug either, and I didn't fix it yet (it's
always hard without reproducing it).
The problem is caused by an inadequate thread management, I guess.
Thank you for your help.
Ibán.
Hi Paweł,
Thank you so much for your valuable information.
I'll try to get rid of this bug ASAP and I'll contact you again, and
hopefully you're still available to give me some feedback.
Once the bug is fixed, I think the new version will be ready for release.

I've already solved the problem in the incoming release 0.8.2:

Hi Bastian,
Thank you by your report.
Those problems has been fixed in the current version 0.7.7. Now lingot
supports ALSA and warns with popup windows.
It's a beta version, but I'll try to stabilize it and contact with the
maintainer in order to upload it to the debian repository.
Cheers,
