hi,
depending on what is debian policy, this should either be done
automatically, or stated in NEWS.Debian.

The backtrace looks certainly wrong.
If anyone anyone can point out how to do better
(or how to use gdb to debug x on a single machine)
i would be willing to help.

Hi,
when attempting to use the convert_pam_mount_conf.pl utility to convert my user
configuration in ~/.pam_mount.conf to ~/.pam_mount.conf.xml
volume ingo crypt - /home/ingo:crypt.img /home/ingo/crypt
fsck,nodev,loop,nosuid
the xml based configuration.
After having converted my user configuration everything worked fine again.
Maybe a notice somewhere about convert_pam_mount_conf.pl will make
life easier for the less curious :)
Best, Ingo

a quick solution is to manualy copy
the liblwgeom.so.1.2 from the lenny-package to
/usr/lib/postgresql/8.2/lib/liblwgeom.so.1.2
then run /usr/share/postgresql-8.2-postgis/lwpostgis_upgrade.sql
for every old postgis-database.
After this you can delete liblwgeom.so.1.2
