way that make s2s connections extremly unreliable causing outbound
connections to terminate immediatly after initialization if connetion attempt
lasts too long. thus most
ses I need ntpdate for which are:
- network plugging of completely new machine installed from image
- activation of reserve hardware
- periodic update of an long time offline machine.
For all other cases ntpd is better.

Please remember that /etc/networking/if-up.d/ntpdate
runs, when the ADMIN starts the networking and not
on every link up/down.
