To have a working version I downgraded to 1:11-4-2.
A few days later unattended-upgrades kicked in and re-installed
1:11-6-2 and some other libs/packets. Now it's working fine.

After doing some more tests I found that it is not triggered
by packages set on hold. It is triggered by packages added to the
black list Unattended-Upgrade::Package-Blacklist.
The error still appears after removing the hold parameter from
the package.

I have the same situation here, but by using a different command
I can circumvent it.
iceweasel -new-tab http://www.debian.org
opens two tabs, but
iceweasel -remote openurl(http://www.debian.org,new-tab)
just opens one (as expected).
