Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I've been having problems using the supplied vagrant boxes in more complex
setups (where a Vagrantfile brings up more than one identical
machine). They effectively end up stealing
hurt. I should
add, I've no idea if the oracle-client is actually attempting to use its
internal SSL library or not in its connection. It's quite possible that if
it does, then this workaround will cause a segfault somewhere under
DBD::Oracle rather than IO::Socket::SSL.

Many thanks.
Those stirling chaps at openvz.org already have a patch that appears to
address this on lenny; can confirm it works for me with multiple VEs,
each
would be appreciated. Certainly a hard lockup doesn't sound like
the correct behaviour.
Cheers,
jan

i see, could you please file that upstream so that openvz devs read
about it and tell us the upstream bug number so that we can keep

Apologies for resubmission; I've jsut found this bug report. I'd like to
add my voice to the requests that this be re-evaluated. In particular,
env_check does not suffice.
