Package: dmidecode
Version: 3.5-1
Hi,
dmidecode --dump-bin segfaults on 64-bit architectures because does
not provide a declaration for fdopen() in ANSI mode, so the returned pointer
is implicitly truncated to int:
[...]
x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc -g -O2 -ffile-prefix-map=/tmp/dmidecode-3.5=.
Hi,
the attached one-liner diff fixes the symbol issue and enables me to run
my Virtualbox VMs again. (However, I didn't check how the addition of
this flag to CXXFLAGS affects the rest of R0 compilation - on the other
hand, it's already there in CFLAGS.)
The missing 'memset' symbol is caused by
aborting the overall compilation.
This change thus only documents the (well-seasoned) status quo.
* Fix quoting issues. Closes: #333431, #783052.

Hi,
my issue is plain and simple: libsane.hpaio.1.0.0 is no longer dlopen()able

Description: Fixes broken handling of "bind u digraph U+", resulting in a
SIGSEGV instead of prompting for the remainder. Also fixes an allocation
inaccuracy I found while debugging this, even though that one looks
uggested code fix: RC_DIGRAPH should probably check that args[1] != NULL
before checking argl[1] > 0 (because the latter is meaningless without the
former, as discussed).
