bcm43xx is still a young driver and not fully functional in 2.6.18
can you test linux image 2.6.19 or 2.6.20-rcX from buildserver trunk

Both compilations of 2.6.19 and 2.6.20-rc5 fail.

buildserver, you find prebuild 2.6.19 and 2.6.20-rc5 images.
