When I try to get help on ifp by running "ifp --help" it complains
if no device is plugged in.
Well, one can still say "man ifp" and get the same help, but normally I
would expect a program to provide help regardless

When quitting ferret, it doesn't ask whether one would like to save any
unsaved changes. This can easily lead to data loss (in fact, I just lost the
last 10 minutes of my work on a project :-( ).
