This situation has existed since I upgraded to version 12 (bookworm)
I have not found any work-around.
This situation prevents me from updating or upgrading my computer system.
Another issue is that 'grep' does not work.
'libreoffice Calc' does not work.
synaptic package manager cannot fix broken packages!
