Could you try with the nv driver instead? You might have to take it
from experimental (xserver-xorg-video-nv 1:2.0.2-1).
I already have this version of xserver-xorg-video-nv and I already tried
with nv in xorg.conf. X starts but it's very slow

The bug is in the latest version 0.074-1 and not in the previous as
wrongly reported in the BTS. I uploaded the package suggested by Marco
but the problem is still present. The udev package work fine anymore, is
