We are trying to setup a bugzilla/postgres configuration.
The database is on a remote server. Requiring a mysql database server is
usesless in this case.
Aborting the database creation ends in strange results.

problem.

After all the testing I do ask for downgrading the bug.
Rationale:
1. I could detect the spinning problem in a non-Gui mode, only.
It is none-Gnome to be more precise.
2. The spinning does appear with a disk inserted only.

I had the same problem. After adding the user to the group camera it
worked. If it works with root camere mebership will shall help.
