Well, i'm not sure if msmtp is really a valid replacement for mail-transport-agent. I've tryed the sendmail mode few weeks ago and as a result, i've lost some mails like crontabs or debconf notes. I do consider loosing mail a minor problem so i will not provide mail-transport-agent, for instance.
