The file program is detecting a simple text file as a MS-DOS executable.
This in all text files that starts with the string 'é'
to reproduce:
$ echo é /tmp/filetest
$ file /tmp/filetest
/tmp/filetest: MS-DOS executable (COM)
package: linux-image-2.6.13-1-686
X and others programs are crashing constantly in my machine.
I cannot reproduce exactly.
Sometimes i got these errors on dmesg:
invalid operand: [#1]

I am using Debian SID in my desktop.
I dont know if this is a xfreee bug, but in lasts days i got freezes in
my machine because x is eating all my memory.
Now, for example, X is taking about 200 MB after 4 hours of use and
continues increasing
