Hello again,
My server is running with the libsafe package. As soon as I deactivated it,
smbd started running normally.

Hello,
One more data point: I am having the exact same problem. I have verified /tmp
(1777 permission) and have replaced my config with the default config. I always
get NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME error on the CLI and
canonicalize_connect_path failed for service IPC$, path /tmp in the logs.
Hello,
I spoke too soon. :( I am still getting a large number of zombie processes...
$ ps ax|grep sendmail.*defunct|wc -l
2522
I am running the recently released version, 0.3.1-9.

Hello. Has there been any progress with this issue? I'm eager to be able to
reenable the -x flag for my spamass-milter installation. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I've installed the new version (-lenny2) but it seems that an error is still
present:

Package: zoneminder
Version: 1.24.2-2+b1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hello. I just updated zoneminder to 1.24.2-2+b1 and swf streaming no longer
works. I suspect that this is related to the following error message:
/home/htdocs/zoneminder-cgi/nph-zms: symbol
}, {cert_subject}, {cert_issuer}')dnl
define(`confMILTER_MACROS_ENVRCPT',`b, i, j, r, v, Z, _')dnl
then spamass-milter acts as if it were invoked with the -x option,
with actually specifying it. If you _do_ specify -x, then the
previously mentioned errors are produced.

5.6.2-2-b1 seems to have corrected this behavior. Aside from compiling
with new imap client library, was there any other change?
