In the last case it only shows a blank screen and I need to power off the laptop. I noticed this problem when trying to install Debian in a laptop with a dual boot setup of Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 (before was 20.04). Debian will reemplace Ubuntu in his same partitions (Ubuntu never had in all these years any problems I'm talking about). With both versions of Ubuntu I don't notice any problem. The only problem is with Debian (11 and 12). I can install Debian perfectly and it boots with no problem if it is selected in the bios entry, but the problem is how the bios recognized the debian entry in the efi partition. I will separate the cases of who i installed Debian (both versions 11 and 12 have the same result): Case 1: In the first attempt to install Debian, I did not delete the ubuntu entry from the efi partition and the result was three entries. One for Windows (that works), one for Ubuntu (that does not work of course) and one for Debian that works but is shown as a blank line. If I remove the ubuntu entry and select the debian one, I can not enter my bios. The bios showed a black screen and only the power key of my laptop changed the scenario. Similar to what is described here: https://superuser.com/questions/1348328/cant-enter-to-bios-after-debian-install-black-screen Case 2: Remove Ubuntu entry and install debian later. Here the result was only one entry with a blank line as a label that loaded Debian, but I lost the entry of Windows. If I manually remove the Debian entry, then the Windows entry shows up again.
