Actually this is gnome-settings-daemon problem. I have rebuilt it with patch
given in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=580616
and the problem disappeared.
That's because of

Please apply the patch given there; I have rebuilt Debian's
gnome-settings-daemon with this patch and it does resolve this bug.

just the integration with nautilus-sendto doesn't work ( I simply cannot
see any bluetooth-related option in nautilus-sendto 'Send to...'

I realize Debian's gnome-bluetooth is still in its infancy, but current
documentation leaves much to be desired. I only want to be able to send
files to/from my cell; no networking or remote control.
