Hi,
Just installed wheezy on an Asus F550C laptop. Trying to scan with a Canon
LiDE 25 flatbed scanner results in the used frontend (tried both XSane and
SimpleScan) to lag severely.
After starting, XSane hangs for about 4 minutes looking
Hi,
I can confirm the bug reported by Matteo; it still shows up even in the
most recent package version 1.7.11-1.
The issue, that affects some Italian CNS cards produced by Actalis, has
been tracked down by Emanuele Pucciarelli to a problem in the ACR38U
driver more than a year ago. Details and
on.

I experienced too disappearance of mouse pointer right after upgrade to
2.6.32-31 and reboot. My machine is an Acer TM2301 with i855gm graphics

Downgrading to 2.6.32-30 resolved the issue.

A fresh Squeeze installation seems to have resolved the issue. I think
the bug can be closed.
Thanks!

Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 2.32.0-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The status (energy, current, etc.) doesn't get updated, unless events are
triggered (e.g. charger disconnection).
As a consequence, gnome-power-manager shows an out-of date battery status
Is there any reason for downgrading priority to normal? Could you please
elaborate on this?
Justification: renders package unusable
I just wonder how a power manager can be defined _usable_, if it's not
able to show battery level.
