I experience the same issue on my laptop. I also use reiserfs for my root
partition, but other computers seem unaffected.

openjdk-6-* on my Debian Lenny (using pinning), but the /etc/alternatives/*
symlinks (including those related to the *-javaplugin.so alternatives) were
not updated.
